Since 1955, the Donovan family has provided Ruxton, Riderwood, and the surrounding communities with a private, family friendly atmosphere for members and their guests to enjoy.
Our beautiful Olympic-sized pool, two diving boards, and five tennis courts have been enjoyed by several generations of members. The club also features a large baby pool and two playgrounds for our youngest members. Valley Swim and Tennis Club offers a great swim team program for children ages four to eighteen and competes against other area clubs in the Freestate Swim League.
The tennis program at Valley provides an excellent venue for tennis players of all levels. We have an array of adult and junior programs, depending on your ability. The men’s and ladies’ teams are comprised of talented players who participate in highly competitive Inter-Club programs. Our full time tennis pro offers many other instructional programs for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a serious competitor, a weekend player, or someone who would like to learn, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy tennis at Valley.
The social activities at the club range from Friday night poolside events to special holiday celebrations. Throughout the season, there are also various special events and dinners planned for you and your family.
Other recreational activities such as basketball, ping-pong, and cornhole provide plenty of family fun when you are taking a break from swimming or playing tennis.
The Valley Grille and Bar offers a great selection of food and drinks, including our famous cheeseburgers, fries, salads, and sandwiches. There is also a variety of ice cream and candy for the kids!
