We are excited to welcome back Joey Atas as our Director of Tennis!
A Baltimore native, Joey was ranked number 1 in the Mid-Atlantic in all age levels (10 and under through 18 and under) and was among the top ten players in the nation in the 18 and under age division. Joey played number 1 in both the singles and doubles division at Duke University on nationally top-ranked teams and earned All-America team selection honors in 2006 and 2007. He also competed internationally and professionally.
Since graduating from college, Joey worked his way up from being a tennis professional to serving as the Director of Tennis at Greenspring Racquet Club and the Roland Run Club. In addition, Joey earned his Masters degree in school counseling and is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC). He has been working with children as a school counselor since 2011.
